With the anniversary of my birth placed squarely in the summer, I never have to go more than about six months before I stumble into a celebration loaded with food and gifts. SAN FRANCISCO- One of my pet peeves is the ugly red date that sometimes gets stamped onto the lower right corner of a photo. (That, and people who talk in the movie theater.)
