Now on its 19th year as the country’s leading information authority on the local ICT community, Media G8way Corporation (MGC) prides itself as the only publishing organization devoted primarily to the ICT industry. MGC has always been committed in the promotion of ICT as a primary tool for enhancing the country’s competitive edge in both local and international arenas.
Media G8way Corporation was formerly known as the WS Computer Publishing Corporation (WSCPC). It was established in 1989 for the primary purpose of publishing informative and relevant publications for the Philippine IT community.
The change from WSCPC to MGC was a decision to reflect its broader coverage of the ICT industry that now includes the Internet, e-business, and telecommunications. It has also increased its coverage on business and consumer electronics.
MGC is the sole Philippine partner of the International Data Group (IDG), the world’s largest publisher of IT titles such as Computerworld, PC World, CIO, Infoworld, and Macworld., the world’s largest publisher of IT titles such as Computerworld, PC World, CIO, Infoworld, and Macworld.
It recently forged a partnership with Haymarket to publish the Philippine edition of Stuff. Haymarket is the largest private magazine publisher in the United Kingdom, with titles published in 23 languages across almost 100 nations.
